3 ways to watch the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup online in Australia

It's on again. The ICC Cricket World Cup is kicking off on May 31 in merry old England. But if you can't afford a plane ticket, how do you catch every match?

Never fear. The internet is here. And if you're an Aussie fan looking for a stream, you've got a few options to choose from.

Kayo Sports

The ICC Cricket World Cup will run from May 31 to July 14 and feature a whopping 48 games. If you want to catch them all, your best bet is a subscription to Kayo Sports.

Australia's "Netflix of sports" will be streaming the entire tournament live and on demand. You can sign up for a 14-day free trial before committing to a subscription, which is $25 per month to watch on two simultaneous screens, or $35 per month to watch on three simultaneous screens.

As well as coverage of the tournament itself, Kayo comes with a range of unique features designed specifically for sports fans.

There's the option to watch split-screen, so you can keep track of multiple World Cup matches, some of which will be happening at the same time. You can even watch the cricket and other sports events like the NRL and AFL which will be overlapping with some ICC events.

There's also the 'key moments' feature which will help you navigate straight to the hottest moments of a game if you're starting late or catching up on demand.

You can watch Kayo on your TV using Apple TV (4th generation), Telstra TV, Google Chromecast, or via the Kayo app if you have a smart TV with Android 7.1 or above.

If you prefer to watch on a smaller screen there's an app available for iPhone/iPad as well as Android phones and tablets. Or you can watch on your computer with Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari.

9Now

If you don't want to pay for Kayo, you can still catch plenty of the games online, live and on demand for free through 9Now.

Foxtel Now

If you're keen on the Cup and love your drama, lifestyle and comedy TV as well, you might want to check out a subscription to Foxtel Now. The digital arm of Australia's pay TV giant will be streaming the every tournament of the ICC World Cup 2019 live and on demand.

Foxtel Now divides its content into "packs", and requires all subscribers to choose a $25 per month "Pop + Lifestyle" starter pack before adding premium packs like sport, which costs an extra $29 per month.

That means you'll be paying a total of $54 per month to watch the cricket. But for your money you'll also get access to a tonne of premium TV, including coveted HBO shows like Game of Thrones, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Westworld and more.

You can watch Foxtel Now on your TV using a Foxtel Now box, Telstra TV, PlayStation 4, Apple AirPlay, or using a Sony, LG or Samsung smart TV. If you prefer to watch on a smaller screen there's an app available for iPhone/iPad as well as Android phones and tablets. You can also watch on your computer using Google Chrome or Safari.
