Good Omens cast members David Tennant and Michael Sheen

After an infernally long wait Amazon Prime's Good Omens is on its way back for season 2. The novel's co-author Neil Gaiman is returning as Executive Producer and co-showrunner and David Tennant and Michael Sheen are reprising their respective roles of Crowley and Aziraphale. Also returning are Jon Hamm, Doon Mackichan and Gloria Obianyo.

Here's the official Good Omens season 2 description:

"Season 2 of Good Omens explores storylines that go beyond the original source material to illuminate the uncanny friendship between Aziraphale, a fussy angel and rare book dealer, and the fast-living demon Crowley. Having been on Earth since The Beginning, and with the Apocalypse thwarted, Aziraphale and Crowley are getting back to easy living amongst mortals in London’s Soho when an unexpected messenger presents a surprising mystery."

Amazon Prime Video Australia

Good Omens is a TV series based on the novel by best-selling authors Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

It's an Amazon Prime Original production which means Prime Video is not just the best place to watch it - it's probably the only place you can.

Prime Video has been known to release original series like American Gods (also based on a novel by Neil Gaiman) onto iTunes and Google Play. But this hasn't happened for Good Omens - yet.

The good news is, Prime Video Australia has a lot of value for its price.  After an initial 30-day free trial period a subscription costs only $6.99 per month, or $59 if you want to pay for a year upfront (This will increase to $9.99 and $79 respectively from May 24). Membership includes access to Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Reading, Twitch Prime for games, free priority shipping on selected Amazon products, and early or exclusive access to Amazon deals.

Even better, your Prime Video account will allow you to watch simultaneously on up to three devices at once. So if you have family or friends who don't mind splitting the cost with you, you could get it down to as low as $2.33 each between three people per month.

All six hour-long episodes of Good Omens season 1 have been released which means you can get away with watching it all on a free trial. But if you are thinking about sticking with Prime after the trial, as well as access to other services, there are plenty of other great shows to watch including popular Top Gear reboot The Grand Tour, rogue superhero series The Boys, and political action thriller Jack Ryan. How to watch Amazon Prime Video

There are many options for Australians who want to check out the content on Amazon Prime Video. A Prime Video app is now available for download on Telstra TV. And you can also watch Prime on an Apple TV,  Amazon Fire TV, Android TV and Google Chromecast. You can also get the Prime Video app on LG and Samsung smart TVs as well as Play Station and Xbox.

In the meantime, if you don't have a device to get Prime onto your TV, you can watch on your computer, or on the Prime Video app for iPhone/iPad or Android phones and tablets.
