HBO Max is the easiest way to watch the first two and upcoming third season of House of the Dragon.

When does House of the Dragon Season 3 release?

On Monday June 22 HBO Max will begin streaming the third season of House of the Dragon.

At the time of writing, the first three episodes will reportedly drop at the same time. Then a new episode will air weekly every Monday until all eight episodes for the season are released, ending in early-August.

Prices start at $11.99 per month, but that's if you don't mind regular ad breaks. $15.99 per month will get you ad-free HD streaming on two devices. If you're hoping to stream Game of Thrones in 4K, HBO Max's $21.99 Premium plan is the way to go.
While it's not the cheapest streaming service, but there are plenty of ways to knock the monthly price down.

HBO Max is available on iOS, Android, most browsers, Apple TV, Google TV, Chromecast and most smart televisions. Check out the full list of HBO Max compatible devices below:

What about Foxtel Now and Binge?

Since HBO Max became a standalone streaming service in Australia in mid-2025, Foxtel Now — the digital alternative to traditional Foxtel — and Binge lost a whole host of HBO Original content, including House of the Dragon and, thus, Game of Thrones.
