The Chair Company - HBO Max

William Ronald "Ron" Trosper (Tim Robinson) is happily married with two kids and was recently promoted to project lead for a new mall development in Canton, Ohio. However, just as his boss (Lou Diamond Phillips) celebrates Ron's promotion at a company-wide all-in meeting, a freak accident with an office chair sets off a painfully embarassing chain of events.
When Ron tries to reach out to the manufacturer to make a complaint, he stumbles upon a deep conspiracy. Does Tekka the chair manufacturer even exist? What is their goal? And most importantly, why will they stop at nothing to stop Ron from asking too many questions?
The first episode of The Chair Company released this week on HBO Max. Catch it ahead of the second episode's premiere on Monday.

Minnie, a young woman who desperately wants to win over Joe at a 1999 New Year’s party, is shocked to discover Joe has moved on with the gorgeous and impressive Jenny.
To make the situation even more complicated, Minnie arrives with a magical bottle of Tequila in tow that, with each sip, resets New Year’s Eve like Groundhog Day. But can Minnie rewrite her night and get One More Shot?

Mr Scorsese - Apple TV Plus

Of all the producers and directors in Hollywood to film a biography about, Mr Martin Scorsese has to be one of, if not the most, fascinating and iconic. John Candy: I Like Me - Prime Video

If you don't exactly have time to sob uncontrollably this weekend, then we suggest avoiding this one. John Candy: I Like Me (Prime Video) brings in the big guns early with footage from the comedy legend's funeral and, heartbreakingly, home video footage of Candy with his children. You've been warned.
Directed by Colin Hanks, I Like Me is a collection of never-seen-before archived footage, private home video and new interviews with friends and family, all who still clearly have a big Candy-shaped hole in their heart.
Two things stand out about John Candy: his unrelenting kindness and the people he surrounded himself with. Between his childhood friends, his colleagues from Second City, and his immediate family, wife Rose, daughter Jennifer, and son Christopher, there isn't a single person who has nothing but love for the late comedian.
It's heartbreaking, for sure, but fans of Candy won't find a more intimate memorial.
