After a July for the books (thank you, KPop Demon Hunters), things are a little quieter over on Netflix this month. That said, there’s still plenty of fresh content to keep you occupied, from returning favourites to highly anticipated new flicks.
Speaking of returning favourites, after almost three years, Wednesday is finally set to grace our screens once again, although not in full. The first four eps arrive on August 6, with the final four coming the following month.
As for movies, there are quite a few exciting titles on the way: acclaimed A24 sports biopic The Iron Claw, crime thriller Night Always Comes, rom-com My Oxford Year, and Jason Statham action flick Beekeeper.
Personally, I’m most excited about The Thursday Murder Club, a comedic murder mystery starring Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley and Celia Imrie as four retirees whose shared love of solving murders for fun is about to come in very handy.
