Earlier this week, Hubbl informed its customers that it would no longer be offering Stack & Save discounts. The service will be discontinued on Wednesday, December 10. From that date on, your monthly bill will increase by $5, $10, or $15 per month, depending on the number of services you have bundled. If you haven't bundled any services with Stack & Save, your bill won't be impacted.
Those who have banked Stack & Save credits will have three years to redeem their discounts, but everyone will stop earning credits from December 10. As spotted by Gadget Guy’s Chris Button, the announcement also went up on Hubbl’s support site.
When Hubbl Hub and Hubbl Glass launched in 2024, the company tried to differentiate two fairly unremarkable streaming devices by including two convenient billing features: Single View and Stack & Save. The latter offered tiered discounts for users who bundled three to five streaming services. You could save $5 per month with three services, $10 per month with four services, and $15 per month with five services.
The only non-Hubbl streaming service eligible for Stack & Save was Netflix, meaning you would need at least two Foxtel-owned streaming services —Binge, Kayo, Flash, or Lifestyle —to qualify for a discount.
This news comes just two months after Foxtel CEO Patrick Delany confirmed that the Hubbl products were in “maintenance mode”.
