It's the most wonderful time of the year for British telly fans because we're being treated to an annual discount from BBC's BritBox. And this year's discount is even more tempting.

Between October 20 and November 2, new and returning BritBox customers can sign up for an annual subscription for just $75. That's a saving of $64.99 on the usual annual price of $139.99. This effectively brings the equivalent monthly price of BritBox to $6.25, roughly 55% cheaper than paying $13.99 per month.

	Plan	Inclusions	Price	Details

Once your 12 months are up, the plan will auto-renew at the current annual price of $139.99 per year, unless auto-renew is switched off prior, or you cancel your plan before the end of that current billing period.

To secure this offer, simply redeem it through the BritBox website or via Apple or Google devices; no promo code needed. It's important to note that BritBox's free seven-day trial can't be used in conjunction with annual subscriptions.

If you're already an Amazon Prime Video subscriber, you can skip a lot of the hassle of signing up by adding BritBox as an additional channel via your Prime Video subscription.

BritBox is the home to all things British TV shows — think 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, QI, Would I Lie to You?, Ghosts, Call the Midwife, Midsomer Murders and Agatha Christie's Poirot, Marple, and Murder Is Easy.

This discount makes BritBox one of the most affordable streaming services on the market. For an idea of how BritBox compares to other streaming services in Australia, check out the table below:
