As of right now, Telstra customers can get $10 off Kayo, every month for a year.
From February 11th, Telstra mobile customers who are new or returning user to the sports streaming platform, can now cheer on their team for $15 per month (standard Kayo) or $25 per month (premium Kayo).
For all you footy fans, that means unfettered access to the biggest games all season. It’s not just mainstream sports though, Kayo offers over 50 world class sports Live and On Demand.
To redeem your Kayo discount, access the Kayo Sports Offer page through your Telstra mobile device. Make sure you’re on your mobile network and disconnected from your WiFi.
All mobile plans and pre-paid services are eligible, and the offer is available to redeem until June 30, 2020.
Telstra customers can also watch a range of Australia’s biggest sports live and on the go, data and cost free, using the AFL, AFLW, NRL, Netball, Football official apps. Although, you can only watch these on a maximum screen size of 7”. So if you like the bigger picture, or prefer to host a viewing party then Kayo is a great way to scratch that itch.
What is Kayo?
Kayo is basically the Netflix of sports. A single monthly payment of $25 gets you access to the entire library of over 50 sports: matches live and on demand, match commentary, interviews and docos.
But the minds behind Kayo have clearly put some thought into how sports fans like to take in their games and have come up with some pretty unique features, like "SplitView" which allows you to watch multiple matches at the same time, "key moments" which shows you where to find the best parts of a match and "no spoilers" which blocks scores from appearing in the menu when you browse.
