Foxtel is adding dedicated sci-fi and murder mystery channels in December

Foxtel is launching new two new channels on December 17 as part of a major channel refresh: Fox Sleuth and Fox Sci-Fi. Fox Sleuth is all about murder mysteries, while Fox Sci-Fi seems pretty self-explanatory.

Launch series for Fox Sleuth will include Vera, Endeavour, Murder, She Wrote, Murdoch Mysteries, Poirot, and Magnum P.I. On Fox Sci-Fi, you'll find Heroes, the original Charmed, Battlestar Galactica, and a whole lot of Star Trek. Specifically, Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Deep Space 9.

These channels will also be coming to Foxtel Now.

In addition, the pay TV giant now has a dedicated 4K movie channel, dubbed Movies Ultra HD. You can get it as part of Foxtel's Movies HD & Netflix Bundle, Platinum Plus Bundle, and Premium & Netflix Bundle.

As part of these changes, several movie channels have been renamed. Disney Movies is now Movies Kids, Masterpieces Movies is now Movies Drama, and More Movies is now Movies Hits.
