Now that the Socceroos have officially qualified for next year’s FIFA World Cup, football fandom has hit a fever pitch here in Australia. While we count down the days ‘till next year’s World Cup competition (kicking off June 12 2026), the 2025 FIFA World Cup will kick off this Sunday, June 15, and run until July 14.
While there won’t be any A-League teams making an appearance on US soil this year, New Zealand’s Auckland City will represent Oceania, making New Zealand temporarily part of Australia, as is customary.
One benefit of the FIFA Club World Cup taking place in the USA is that Australians will only need to be up an ungodly hour on a few occasions to catch the action live. Here’s how and when to stream each match of the FIFA Club World Cup live in Australia.
Where is the FIFA Club World Cup streaming in Australia?
While SBS still holds the rights to the FIFA World Cup, Kayo, Foxtel and DAZN have scored the streaming rights for the FIFA Club World Cup in Australia.
All 63 games will be broadcast live across all three services, beginning with Al Ahly (Egypt) vs. Inter Miami (United States) on the June 15 at 10:00am AEST.
Though all owned by the same company, Kayo, Foxtel and DAZN are three distinctly different services. Here’s how much each service costs and what features to expect:
Kayo seems like the place to be if you’re unsure. It will have a 24/7 dedicated channel for the FIFA Club World Cup, as well as highlights and Kayo minis (condensed viewings) for every match.

What’s the difference between the FIFA World Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup?
The FIFA World Cup has long been seen as the pinnacle event for the sport but the new FIFA Club World Cup aims to be just as prestigious with a slight twist. Instead of representing their country (like the Socceroos will), the FIFA Club World Cup sees individual clubs from across the globe compete against each other. Instead of seeing Australia vs. England, for example, you will see clubs like New Zealand’s Auckland City up against Portugal’s Primera Liga champions Benfica.
