Imperfect Women - March 18

Imperfect Women - Apple TV

Imperfect Women is the next big exclusive released on Apple TV. This psychological thriller series is a little whodunnit, a little whoisit. When Nancy (Kate Mara) is murdered, the investigation reveals dark details about Nancy and those closest to her that throw into question decades of friendship. It features a stacked cast, including Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale), Kerry Washington (Little Fires Everywhere), Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton), and House of Cards alum Kate Mara, Joel Kinnaman and Corey Stoll.

The first two episodes of Imperfect Women debut on Apple TV on March 18, with subsequent episodes released weekly until the eighth and final episode on April 29.

Margo’s Got Money Trouble - April 15

Margo's Got Money Trouble - Apple TV

Apple TV partners up with A24 once again for Margo’s Got Money Troubles, a feel-good family drama starring Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer and Nick Offerman. When hopeful writer Margo Millet (Fanning) falls pregnant after an affair with her English professor, she’s forced to drop out of college. With the support of her mother, Shyanne (Pfieffer), and estranged father, former pro wrestler Jinx (Offerman), Margo turns to OnlyFans to raise some money.

Margo’s Got Money Troubles has been adapted from the 2024 Rufi Thorpe novel by legendary TV guy David E. Kelley. The very same David E. Kelley who created The Practice, Ally McBeal, Boston Legal, Big Little Lies, Presumed Innocent, and so much more.

Margo's Got Money Troubles premieres on April 15.

Widow’s Bay - April 29

Widow’s Bay is an original comedy-horror series coming to Apple TV in April. It stars Matthew Rhys (The Americans) as Tom Loftis, Mayor of Widow’s Bay, a quiet island community off the coast of New England. Surrounded by superstitious locals who believe the island is cursed, Loftis is dedicated to reviving his small town as a popular tourist destination and creating a better life for his teenage son. When the mayor gets his wish and tourists start flooding the island, he finds out that some of the locals' conspiracy theories weren’t just theories.

Widow’s Bay is created by Kate Dippold (Parks and Recreation) and produced/directed by Hiro Murai (Atlanta).

Widow's Bay premieres April 29.

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed - May 20

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed - Apple TV

Directed by David Gordon Green (The Righteous Gemstones) and created by David Rosen (Sugar), Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed is a dark comedy-thriller starring Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black). Maslany plays Paula, a recently single mother who gets entangled with blackmail and (possibly) murder while also fighting her ex for custody.

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed premieres with two episodes on May 20, with new episodes releasing every week.

Cape Fear - June 5

Javier Bardem in Cape Fear

Based on the 1957 John D. Macdonald novel The Executioners and more directly inspired by Martin Scorsese's 1991 adaptation (which itself was a remake of a 1962 adaptation), Cape Fear is returning to screens in the form of a 10-episode TV series on Apple TV.

Javier Bardem will step into the villainous shoes of Max Cady, the antagonist made famous by Robert De Niro's chilling portrayal in the 1991 version. When Cady is released from prison 14 years after his incarceration, he sets out to terrorise the public defenders, Anna and Tom Bowden (Amy Adams and Patrick Wilson), who mishandled evidence in order to have him detained.

Nick Antosca (Brand New Cherry Flavor) will serve as showrunner, while Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg will produce.

Cape Fear will begin June 5 with a double-episode premiere, with new episodes released every Friday until the tenth and final episode on July 31.

Lucky - July 15

Lucky - Apple TV

Adapted from Marissa Stapley's 2021 novel of the same name, Lucky is an upcoming seven-episode TV series starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Annette Bening and Timothy Olyphant. Showrunner Jonathan Tropper (Your Friends and Neighbours) and Cassie Pappas (Silo) will adapt the series, which follows a young, former con artist who is forced to rely on her old tricks to outrun her past.

Lucky premieres July 15 with new episodes releasing every Wednesday.

Outcome - April 10

Outcome - Apple TV

Keanu Reeves is set to star in Jonah Hill's upcoming dark comedy for Apple TV, Outcome. Reeves plays Reef Hawk, a Hollywood icon who is forced into crisis control when he is blackmailed with a video that could damage his pristine reputation. With the help of his best friends (Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer) and lawyer Ira (Hill), Reef Hawk sets out on a journey to make amends with everyone he's ever wronged, hoping to find the mysterious blackmailer along the way. It's kind of like My Name is Earl if Earl was... well... Keanu Reeves.

Outcome premieres April 10 on Apple TV.

The Dink - July 24

Apple is once again courting one of its favourite stars, Jake Johnson, for a new comedy, The Dink. Johnson plays Dusty Boyd, a former tennis star who has fallen from grace. When an injury takes him out of the game, Dusty turns to pickleball for rehabilitation, despite his father Chuck's (Ed Harris) hatred for what he considers to be the inferior paddle-ball sport. Dusty finds himself torn when he finds himself actually enjoying the sport and spending time with his cheerful pickleball partner, Candace (Mary Steenburgen).

The Dink also stars tennis star Andy Roddick as himself, playing Boyd's childhood nemesis. Patton Oswalt, Chloe Fineman, Chris Parnell, Ben Still, and Australia's own Aarron Chen round out the cast.

The Dink premieres exclusively on Apple TV on July 24.

Mayday - September 4

Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) and Kenneth Branagh (Death on the Nile) team up for Mayday, a buddy-comedy slash spy-thriller. Reynolds plays Troy "Assassin" Kelly, a US Navy pilot left stranded behind enemy lines when a top-secret mission in Russia goes awry. Kelly is forced to team up with Nikolai Ustinov (Branagh), an ex-KGB agent with a fondness for American culture, if he's going to make it home.

Mayday premieres September 4 exclusively on Apple TV.

Matchbox: The Movie - October 9

John Cena is bringing some of his Fast and the Furious experience to Apple TV with the upcoming action-comedy, Matchbox: The Movie. Somehow based on the iconic Mattel toys, Matchbox: The Movie follows a group of childhood friends who are dragged into a plot to save the world by their estranged friend, undercover CIA agent Sean (Cena).

Joining John Cena are Jessica Biel (The Sinner), Teyonah Parris (The Marvels), Sam Richardson (Werewolves Within) and Arturo Castro (Broad City).

Matchbox: The Movie premieres exclusively on Apple TV on October 9.

Way of the Warrior Kid - November 20

The Way of the Warrior Kid
Jude Hill, Linda Cardellini and Chris Pratt in Way of the Warrior Kid

Last on the list for now is Way of the Warrior Kid, Apple TV's upcoming Chris Pratt vehicle. Adapted from the 2017 children's book of the same name, Way of the Warrior Kid follows Marc (Hill), a decent kid who is bullied at school and ostracised by his classmates. When his buff ex-Navy SEAL Uncle Jake (Pratt) comes to stay with Marc and his mother, Sarah (Cardellini), for the holidays, the two devise a training regime to help Marc develop courage and bravery without resorting to violence.

Way of the Warrior Kid premieres on Apple TV on November 20.
