Service Description
Exetel NBN plans are supplied as pure stand-alone Fixed Line Broadband Services including a free VoIP Direct In Dial Number (DID) so you can either port your current phone number to Exetel (if you have one) or they can assign you a new one. This VoIP service can be used to make and receive phone calls over your Exetel Broadband Service. Call charges apply
NBN Fixed Line Internet is the next generation broadband technology delivered via fibre optic cables. Fibre optic broadband is capable of delivering superfast broadband speed.
Early Termination Costs
A Cancellation Fee will apply if you cancel your Broadband service within the minimum contract term. The Cancellation Fee is calculated as: Remaining months in the contract term x the monthly charge x 30%. You may cancel your service at any time by giving Exetel thirty (30) days’ written notice.
Equipment Requirement
This plan requires you to have an NBN compatible modem/router. To ensure the optimum performance of, and levels of support for, your NBN service, Exetel strongly recommends the use of an Exetel supplied and approved modem. If you choose to BYO modem, it is your responsibility to ensure that your modem is compatible with the service.
If you have selected an inclusive modem with your plan, a Modem Payout Fee will apply if you cancel your Broadband Service within 18 months of activation. The Modem Payout Fee is calculated as: (18 months – months service was active) x $8 (inclusive GST).

- Static IP: Includes free public static IP address, if you want to host your own email server or provide remote access to your staff for VPN use or remote cloud access to your CRM
- Free modem on 18-month contracts: Add a modem for free on the 18-month contract (delivery fee applies)

Charges are dependent on the type of work that needs to be done and will be decided by Exetel's network supplier and passed on to you at cost price (plus GST).
