In the lead up to the launch of 5G networks in 2020, Telstra and Netgear, in partnership with Qualcomm and Ericsson, have unveiled the world's first gigabit 4G device, the Netgear Nighthawk M1.
2017's flagship smartphones will be thinner and have bigger batteries thanks to Qualcomm. The mobile chip manufacturer today took the wraps of its latest high-end processor - the Snapdragon 835 - which is said to be 25% faster than last year's Snapdragon 820, while using 25% less power. This translates to roughly 2.5 hours more battery per day.
