This TPG Naked ADSL2+ plan includes a a standalone fixed broadband service that delivers high speed Internet access without the need of an active landline phone service. The Service is delivered via TPG’s own network infrastructure.
You need an active phone line for TPG Naked ADSL2+ to be installed. Once Naked ADSL2+ is installed, your phone line will be disconnected.
Customers need a compatible broadband modem and filters. ADSL filters are required to connect telephony devices to your phone line without causing interference to your ADSL2+ Internet connection. Customers can purchase a compatible modem supported by TPG at the time of registration. You are able to BYO Modem, but it must be TPG approved.
TPG Naked ADSL2+ services are only available at TPG ADSL2+ enabled exchange areas & subject to infrastructure availability at customer’s premises. The Unlimited plan is only available at selected TPG exchanges.
Optimal ADSL2+ speeds require compatible ADSL2+ modem and filters. More than 50% of TPG's ADSL2+ customers obtain connection speeds exceeding 10Mbps. Actual speeds will vary due to many factors including distance from the local telephone exchange, the quality of the customer's copper phone line, cabling and equipment.
