Nokia Lumia 800 Hits Australia

The world’s first Nokia Windows Phone, the Nokia Lumia 800, will be available on Australian shores through Optus, Telstra, Vodafone and all major retailers.

The Lumia 800 was enthusiastically received by UK residents and marks a new page for the Finnish mobile phone giant.

Available in pink (Magenta), blue (Cyan), black and white the Lumia is machined out of a single piece of durable polycarbonate, giving it a unique (if you don’t count the Nokia N9) and stylish appearance.

Running on Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) the Nokia Lumia 800 has been highly anticipated by many Australians, as the Microsoft-designed operating system (OS) has been receiving a lot of positive mention in the press in recent months.

If you’d like to know more about the Nokia Lumia 800 we did a post about it a while back.

We’re yet to get our hands on one of these exciting devices for a review just yet, but when we do we’ll be sure to let you know. If you can’t wait then we suggest you head on out and try to find a display  model to play with to see if the Nokia Lumia 800 is your kind of stylish device.
