New text message scam out today, make sure that you avoid this one – screen shot attached here.
Helpful Tip
A helpful tip for the future is that when someone uses what looks like a trusted brand, in this case Apple, but uses the ‘.com’ early in the URL and then again at the end, it is definitely a SCAM.
Normally the correct URL would be apple.com and the domain name component is ‘apple’.
In this example, the scammer has registered ‘apple.com.au.qhkb’ as the domain name as you can see the extra .com at the end.
