For a very short while Vodafone is offering the HTC Sensation XL for $0 on a 24 month $29 plan for those that order online. If you haven’t heard much about the XL you we’ll fill you in, or you can check out our HTC Sensation XL review from a short while back.
The Sensation XL is a high-end handset with a 4.7 inch screen and Beats Audio integration. The large display lends itself extremely well to browsing, video and gaming. Folks with smaller hands or who prefer smaller handsets may find the size of the Sensation XL a little daunting, but we didn’t really have any problems with it.
Specs-wise the Sensation XL reads as follows:
- 4.7 inch 480×800 S-LCD display
- Dual-core 1.5GHz processor
- 768MB RAM
- Android 2.3.5 operating system
- HTC Sense 3.5 user interface
- 8MP rear-facing camera with flash
- 1.3MP front-facing camera
The offer ends on the 15/02/12 so you really better hurry if you’re interested. Once again we’ll caution buyers that this is a large phone. We found that most people we lent it to were intimidated at first but quickly adjusted, but there were a few who simply found the size to be too large for comfort.
Otherwise it’s a great phone and we definitely recommend it for anyone in the market to compare mobile phones.
