Turns out that we’re addicted to our shiny new smart phones, but not for the reason we once were in the nineties. According to a recent study from UK network O2, the 5th most used function of our smartphones is making calls.
Of the 128 minutes that the survey respondents said they were using on their phone, browsing the internets was the number one use. Two hours a day on our phones and hardly a phone call. If you’re in the market for a smartphone, think about your own requirements upfront. If browsing the internet is important, screen size, processor speed and connectivity are key.
