If you’ve been hanging out for a reason to grab the iPhone 5 – or any new smartphone – Virgin Mobile is dangling a carrot for new customers who sign up to its postpaid plans online.
From February 28, Virgin Mobile is offering customers joining via its website an extra 1.5 GB of data each month, for the first 6 months of their plan. The web special applies to all new postpaid plans – including Big Plans and Topless Plans – with the exception of SIM only BYO phone plans.
It rather awesomely also applies to all handsets, including iPhones – which means that extra 1.5GB will be much appreciated by those users enjoying 4G LTE data speeds (which is available to customers in selected areas).
The bonus data equates to a saving of around $15 per month, or $90 for the 6 month offer. The extra 1.5GB will expire after one month, and can’t be rolled over.
Virgin Mobile’s previous deal excluded the iPhone, so its newest special might provide some extra incentive for customers to upgrade to Apple’s flagship device. The offer is valid for eligible plans purchased online, from today until midnight on the 27th of March.
