"The handset's 4.7-inch display is a highlight, with plenty of screen real estate for web browsing, emailing and gaming. HTC chooses a Super LCD panel for this display, which offers nice, warm colours and good viewing angles. It is substantially lower resolution than the same-sized screen on the One X — again, a limitation of Windows Phone — but this hasn't bothered us too much, thanks to the clean user interface design of the operating system." 7.5/10

"The 16MP camera on the Titan juts out in the same way as with the Android-based One X/One XL phones, and while that’s slightly annoying, the shots it takes are very good. Again, it’s not quite up there with the absolute best snappers in terms of very fast response, but for straight point and shoot photography it’s more than adequate, and the inclusion of a dedicated camera button makes taking crisp shots particularly easy."

"The first 4G-capable Windows Phone in Australia is predictably slick, easy to use and provides excellent data speeds provided you're in a Telstra 4G coverage zone. However, limited internal memory with no expansion and a chunky, thick design will turn many potential users elsewhere" 3.5/5 Stars

"A functional, well made phone that doesn't dazzle, but certainly doesn't disappoint. Telstra's 4G network is impressive, but it's early days and time will tell how robust the performance truly is. " 4/6 Stars

"In terms of design, the Titan 4G lacks inspiration. It's a behemoth drenched in banal grey, modelling no swooning curves or premium materials. Instead, HTC hope much of the Titan's allure will come from its expansive screen." 3/5 Stars
