This credit card has an embedded microchip that provides protection against unauthorised card use.
Repayment Insurance
You can purchase additional Everyday Money Credit Card Repayment Insurance at a cost of 60c for each $100 of monthly outstanding balance. This provides you assitance with your monthly repayments and will repay your remaining balance (up to $25,000) if you’re involuntarily unemployed (due to redundancy or retrenchment) or can’t work due to injury or sickness.
Balance Transfer
You can transfer the balance of an existing non-HSBC credit or store card at the time of application.
MasterCard® PayPass™
Wherever you see the PayPass sign, you can use your credit card without signing or entering a PIN on purchases less that $35.
epump (coming soon)
epump will allow you to pay for your fuel quickly without having to queue in-store:
- Place your Everyday Money Credit Card flat against the centre of the reader on the pump.
- Enter your PIN.
- Follow the prompts on the screen, then lift the nozzle and fill your tank.
epump is not available in Tasmania and is exclusive to Everyday Money Credit Card customers.

- 3 points per dollar spent on this credit card Woolworths Select products purchased at Woolworths or Safeway Supermarkets, excluding online purchases.
- 2 ponts per dollar spent on on this credit card for other products purchased at Woolworths or Safeway Supermarkets, BIG W, CALTEX WOOLWORTHS/SAFEWAY co-branded fuel outlets, epump, Woolworths/Safeway Liquor, Thomas Dux, Dick Smith PowerHouse and participating Dick Smith Electronics and Tandy stores (some exclusions apply).
- 1 point per dollar spent on this credit card on other purchases (some exclusions apply).
Every 4 months, if you have enough points, they will be automatically convert into an Everyday Money Shopping Card which will be sent to you and available to use for purchases at specified retail outlets. The shopping card expires 90 days after the date of issue.
